Vauxhall Wins Gold

Vauxhall Motors were delighted to receive an award earlier this month.  They were presented with the Talent Match Mark Gold Award by Natasha Wotherspoon from Youth Employment UK.  David Connell, Vauxhall’s Human Resources Director received the award on behalf of the company.

“Vauxhall are delighted to achieve the Gold Award for the work we have been doing.  Our engagement with young people and their development in learning is paramount to us. We are very proud that we have been able to run programmes that have aided many young people.  Vauxhall is committed to giving youth the chance to experience the real life world of work, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their future, taking into account the opportunities that are available to them locally,” said David Connell.

The award is to celebrate outstanding employers who are youth friendly and Vauxhall has come out strong in their youth engagement.  The award boast four levels, bronze, silver, gold, free of charge with an accredited assessment available at Platinum Level. It shows how far the company takes a young person in their career stages to work.
