There are several ways for employers to get involved during Youth Employment Week. Each day focuses on a different core principle of good youth employment, which all employers can access in full when they take the cost-free, commitment-free action to sign their organisation to the Good Youth Employment Charter!

Across the week we are inviting our partners and employer networks to share opportunities, events and content that will help young people wherever they are on their journey to work.

Employer Activity Days

Each of the 5 days focuses on a different principle of good youth employment.

Day 2

Recognising talent

Recognising talent is an impactful way to think differently about requirements and broaden skills and abilities.

Day 3

Fair employment

Fair employment calls on employers to provide good quality employment opportunities for all young people, recognising barriers to success.

Day 4

Developing people

Developing people relates to developing young people in the organisation so they are motivated and equipped to progress.

Day 5

Youth voice

Empowering youth voice enables you to listen to the needs of young people in your organisation and create space for mutually beneficial feedback.

If you have an opportunity for young people aged 11 - 30 that's open to applications during 3 - 7 Jul 2023, why not complete our Youth Employment Week proforma? You are also welcome to share it as part of this important campaign.

Proforma

During Youth Employment Week we are hosting events that both employers and young people can attend. Register for your place:

Creating a case study can help young people to understand your organisation and why you are a good organisation to work for. You can use Youth Employment UK’s case study template to help get you started. Complete it and send it to Youth Employment UK for our website to be published and promoted on our website.
