Day 5 Teaching Guide

Networking and LinkedIn

For Day 5 of Youth Employment Week, our overarching focus is “Career Navigator”. In the current world of work, networking is an essential part of job hunting and career progression. We know the impact of networking on career goals, and the
social media platform LinkedIn can play a huge role in supporting young people with this at the beginning of their career. We
can help you to support young people in understanding what networking is, its value, and why they should set up a LinkedIn profile.
