Name   Zoe King
What  is your  background,  what  are your  career  ambitions?
I left  school  with  all B-C’s and went  straight  to college  to do a childcare  course.  I  enjoyed  it but realised  it’s  not  something  I  wanted  to  do as a career.  I enjoyed  Business Studies  a lot  at school  so I decided  to apply  for  Level 3 Business Studies  and I am now  studying  year  2.  My  career  goal would be to  one day own  or be a manager  of a business  but for  now  I  want  to  pursue  my interest  in Business Administration.
Why  did you chose to register  as a  Future  Hirer?
I chose to register  as a Future  Hirer to  open  up more  opportunities    for  me and to  meet  new people.  Also,  it’s  free  and very  beneficial  for  me as it helps  me with  my future  by providing  me with  help  with  my CV and  interviews.  It’s very  worthwhile.
What  support  have you  received  through  Future  Hirers  membership?
I have had help and tips  regarding  my CV and  its help make  my CV look  and sound  really  good.  I’ve also had  help and tips  with  job  interviews   which  has made  me feel  more  confident  when  attending them.  The Hire  Convention  was very  helpful  and fun  too  as I  met  lots  of people  and gained  lots of information   regarding  the  hire  industry.  Also,  because  of being  a Future  Hirer,  I gained  a week’s work  experience  at Hire Association  Europe  for  my college  course  which  has helped  gain  lots and lots  of skills  which  will  help  me.
Describe  aspects of your  involvement  with  Future  Hirers which  have been  particularly rewarding  for you?
I  think  the  most rewarding  aspects  are the  amount  of help  and support  I have received  since I joined  Future  Hirers.  It has helped  me a lot with  planning  my career  and  providing  me with  a work placement.   Also,  I  have met  a lot of wonderful   people  at the  Hire Convention  and  during  my work placement  and they  have all  helped  me lots.
What  advice  would  you give to someone  thinking  about  joining  Future  Hirers?
I would  tell  them  to join  straight  away  as you  have nothing  to  lose.  It’s  free  and I  can guarantee that  it will  help you even just  a little  bit.  It will  open  up your career  opportunities   so you’re  not just  limited  to  one thing  and you will  gain  lots  and  lots  of support,  advice  and experience  which will  help you  massively  when  searching  for  a job  as lots  of employers  want  people  with  experience so this  is  a great  opportunity.   Being  a Future  Hirer  has been so beneficial  for  me and  I  am very grateful.
