APPG Youth Employment Meeting Notes – October

We held the our first All Party Parliamentary Meeting for Youth Employment post the General Election earlier this month. The first inquiry in our series of three looks at those furthest away from the labour market.

We were delighted to welcome many members, partners and interested parties to the meeting, the event was oversubscribed and at some points standing room only.  We heard evidence from Mark Pike, Develop EBP. You can read Mark’s full commentary in the meeting notes below but the insight into the multiple challenges young people face and hearing Mark’s recommendations was valuable for all in attendance.
