Our CEO Laura-Jane Rawlings discusses youth employment challenges in the face of COVID-19, including gender gaps highlighted in international research, in an interview with UCB Media.

I was really grateful for an invitation to talk to UCB Radio about our work here at Youth Employment UK.  In the interview, we focused on the challenges that young people face as a result of COVID-19.

It’s clear that the economic impact of Covid-19 will affect young people and their employment opportunities. It’s important to remember that it has already had a major impact on the education experience of so many young people too.

Listen as we discussed the challenges facing young people  – including some of those gender gaps highlighted in international research.
