ITP’s Apprenticeship Scheme

The ITP give companies the option to recruit telecoms apprentices in house or we can do it for them (at an additional cost). The roles we recruit for vary from 1st line support, IT customer service, engineering roles and many more within the telecoms industry, the company provides The ITP with the job speciation.  We will advertise the job on National Apprenticeship service, Indeed, Universal Job Match and various others, along with liaising with schools, colleges and local job centres to find suitable candidates.

The ITP then screen applications and carry out telephone interviews,  candidates who meet the set criteria after completing their telephone interview are then invited to assessment day at the employers workplace. The Assessment day consists of a Maths and Engineering test,  group exercise, short presentation and an interview.  After the Assessment day is over the employer then chooses the candidate that they would like to offer the apprenticeship to.

The candidate is then recruited by the employer and will start work and college. The apprentice will attend college for 8 weeks out of the 18 month course,  visiting college every other month for a week at a time.
