AELP & The Education Training Foundation Workforce Data Collection Survey

YEUK Member AELP have put out this call to action for Training Providers and AELP members.

Members/Providers Response Needed | Workforce Data 2013/14 | We need your input!

Head of Marketing & Membership at AELP

Building on data collections over the last three years, AELP are supporting The Education andAELP Training Foundation with this year’s Workforce Data Collection Survey. The survey will be invaluable in mapping the current make-up of the work-based learning (WBL) workforce.

Why you should respond:
• Government departments increasingly rely on good quality workforce data to underpin policy decisions and priorities. It is important that the WBL sector is clearly and accurately represented.
• Up-to-date workforce data allows sector bodies such as AELP and the Foundation to understand the resource needs of the sector and prioritise support where it is needed most.
• Workforce data is an effective tool for lobbying purposes, ensuring the sector is effectively represented and annual trends captured.
• Data such as this is useful in developing teaching qualifications and further professionalising the sector.
• You will also no doubt find the information collected useful for HR purposes within your own organisation as a result of undertaking this survey.

We greatly appreciate it if every Independent Training Provider involved in WBL delivery can complete the survey: https://www.snapsurveys.com/wh/s.asp?k=141874758700

By Friday, 13 February 2015.

Please note, the data being collected is for the 2013/14 academic year.

Any queries, or to request a PDF copy of the survey to collect the data before responding, please contact the Foundation on: SIRenquiries@etfoundation.co.uk
