You’ll get your voice heard

Frustrated with the lack of opportunities in your local area? Want to speak about issues that matter to you? Feel like young people don’t get heard?

The Youth Voice Census is a place to share exactly what you think AND your answers are completely anonymous. We look at your answers and put the data into a report that can be read by everyone, including employers and policy makers – showing them exactly what young people think works and doesn’t work makes a big difference to how they do things!

If you want to take a look at what kind of data and insights we pull from your answers, take a look at last year’s Youth Voice Census report.

You’ll help shape UK government policy

The Youth Voice Census provides people with insight about what UK young people think, but it also guides the work we do each year.

We listen to your biggest concerns to see where we should be focusing our energy and resources. This allows us to make the biggest difference to the lives of young people.

We take what we learn from the data and use it in our conversations with our network – this includes MPs, government departments and services that support you. This means the Youth Voice Census gives you a real chance to get your opinions in front of the people who make change in the UK.

You’ll help improve opportunities for all young people

We want to improve opportunities for all young people in the UK so that you can confidently move through your journey to employment, whatever that looks like for you.

Whether you’re in secondary school, college, university, work, an apprenticeship, or currently not in any of these, we want to hear from you – all of your thoughts and opinions are important.

Not all young people have the same concerns or ambitions, and different issues impact different people at different stages of their life. For the Youth Voice Census to provide effective data, we need to hear from a diverse range of people.

No matter your age, race, gender, or where you are in your career, hearing from you means that we can help others like you.

You’ll show what young people have to offer

One of our core missions is to show the working world what talented young people like you have to offer. By completing this survey, you’re showing that young people really do care a lot about their future career, and that you’re keen to learn more.

This helps our work with getting more young people into stable work, and to encourage employers to be ‘youth friendly’ so that there are amazing opportunities out there for you.

It’s quick and easy

You can complete the Youth Voice Census online so you can do it whenever or wherever you want. It doesn’t take long to complete, and you can even do it in chunks by coming back again later because your progress will be saved.

Help us make it bigger and better than ever.
