Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship opportunity with Kemps Architectural Lighting Ltd – Leeds #CreateYourFuture

Responsibilities include goods in/out stock control and keeping stock systems up to date, tidy and accurate at all times. Picking stock from works orders and issuing to relevant production team Packing, weighing, measuring & labelling ready for dispatch. The role carries a good degree of physical work and requires a hard working team player.

Duties to include:

• Goods In/Stores
• Responsible for accepting, inspecting & checking all deliveries for quantity and condition as per company process
• Arrange for any items requiring QC inspection to be identified to relevant “inspector/checker” for checking as per process
• Booking in all items onto ERP system immediately
• Moves items promptly to correct Store location ready for picking
• Monitoring stock/re-order levels
• Keep KANBAN parts updated in stores and on work benches with assistance from assembly team
• Work area’s to be kept clean and tidy at all times
• Responsible for picking stock components to match internal works orders ready for manufacturing
• Packing
• Checking items are correct for quantity & labelling against works orders
• Responsible for packing items carefully and neatly as per works order instructions. Photos taken to send to clients before boxes sealed for despatch
• Provides a packing list to the manager once accurately weighed and measured
• Responsible for keeping the packing area/materials tidy and in correct locations
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining sufficient stock levels for all packing materials
