The Economy Team is based within the Development and Environment Directorate at North Somerset Council. It is responsible for working with local and regional partners to deliver economic projects and programmes aimed at securing North Somerset as a significant business location.
Support the Team to deliver a range of project activity across all themes in the North Somerset district including, research, data analysis, communications, event planning and project delivery that help boost the local economy and job creation, respond to basic requests for information, in person, electronically and by telephone from internal and external customers, exerting strong customer service skills, promote good news stories through social media channels, assisting with the management of social media accounts and social media audience building.

- To ensure compliance with all Health and Safety legislation and associated codes of practice and authority policies
