Technical Assistant Position with Element – Cheshire #CreateYourFuture

Responsibilities

  • Conducting authorised tests and ensuring that the following stages of the work are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the appropriate Standard, UK Fire Test Study Group resolution, EGOLF resolutions and relevant Warringtonfire Quality and SHE requirements
  • Preparation of test specimens
  • Determination of required physical properties of test specimens
  • Conditioning of test specimens
  • Liaising with client during tests (under supervision of immediate supervisor)
  • Operation of test equipment and conductance of tests
  • Assisting immediate supervisor with the preparation of test reports
  • Ensuring that target delivery dates are met and budget sales targets are achieved
  • Ensuring client satisfaction
  • Providing general assistance to immediate supervisor
  • Ensuring high standards of housekeeping are maintained
  • Liaising with Systems champion in respect of ordering general items by full utilisation of the Internal Goods Requisition Order Form
