Aldershot Football Club is looking for a talented Social Media / Marketing Manager to help manage their social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and the company website.

The role is a mix of office based and field based but can be done remotely; hours and days vary based on the trainees availability but can be ideally a minimum of three days a week. This is initially unpaid but following a successful traineeship can develop into a paid role. You will understand social media marketing and promotion.

You will be expected to generate leads in the form of likes and engagement on the social media channels.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Content creation on Canva (or similar)
  • Creating Instagram campaigns
  • Twitter commentary
  • Maintain online presence
  • Tracking and boosting engagement via analytics
  • Filming/editing/photography

This can be a 12 week or 6 month long traineeship. After successful completion of the Traineeship course, you will receive a certificate of completion and reference as a minimum, to support future job applications. There may be opportunities for interview and progression onto an apprenticeship or into employment with training or further education.
