The opportunity

Fujitsu is a global technology leader that delivers behind the scenes technology you use every day, at leisure or during the working day. They keep the systems going that people use to manage their finances, shop in-store or online, consume energy or use government services. They employ over 7,000 people in the UK and are now looking for 6 Sales Graduates to join their Sales role stream.

Graduates will develop their sales and business development skills, and could be selected to work in different business areas. Ifselected for Product Business, Graduates will work across a mix of public and private sector accounts, gaining knowledge and experience from the existing team before receiving a small KPI target after 6 months. If selected for Private Sector, Graduates will experience a Sales 101 introduction during their first 6 months, followed by specific training to help them understand Fujitsu and its sales cycle. Throughout this time, they will be supported by a dedicated manager, a buddy who has experience of the scheme themselves, as well as Fujitsu’s Sales Accelerator Community, a team built to support their growth and development.

All Graduates will also undertake Fujitsu’s 24 month modular development program. This covers key skills like self-awareness, leadership, business awareness and business knowledge. It also allows apprentices to network with other junior colleagues across Europe.

Key responsibilities

Be responsible for completing the required Sales training, including that related to their specialist

Assist members of the Sales team on deals, developing into a leader with responsibility for Revenue and Profit targets and for mentoring future Graduates as your career develops

Work alongside Sales Leaders, Bid Managers, Account Managers, Pre-Sales, CTO’s & Sector Leaders to:

  • be trained in Sales methodology and in their area of expertise
  • Work with experienced sales leaders to further their education and development
  • Understand the sectors Fujitsu sell in to and assist the business/regulatory requirements of those accounts
  • Learn the Fujitsu Sales Process including Legal & Commercial, Business case creation etc.
  • Develop marketing and business development campaigns to create a pipeline of opportunities in both new name and existing accounts

Entry requirements

Successful candidates must:

  • have obtained or hold a degree of any type or result by the time of the start date of the role.
  • Note that if candidates do not have the traditional qualifications listed above, but have prior learning and skills developed from the workplace, these will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • have a right to work in the UK

Details

Location: Manchester, Solihull or Bracknell

Office or customer based 2-3 days per week. When first starting, successful candidates may need to be in the office a bit more often to receive support and build relationships. However, they will then be able to join the majority of employees who can work from home on days there isn’t a specific reason to be in the office or to visit customers.

Salary: £29,000

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week (generally 9am -5:30pm Mon-Fri but flexibility can be discussed at interview.

Duration: Permanent contract, starting Sep 2023

All candidates will be asked to undertake a virtual strengths-based assessment and a video interview before potentially being invited to attend a virtual assessment centre. If a lack of tech is a barrier for candidates the employer can consider face to face assessments instead.
