Overcoming Digital Distractions Workshop with Tech Balance – #CreateYourFuture

Overcoming digital distractions such as social media can be great for a healthy and productive lifestyle. Find out how to do this with the discovery workshop from Tech Balance.

About the discovery workshop

My name is Ryan Bell and I’m an award-winning entrepreneur creating an education and coaching start-up – Tech Balance – to help students build healthy and productive technology habits.

Join us on Thursday 9th June 10am – 11am for this highly interactive Discovery Workshop session, you will develop an understanding of why your relationship with social media and gaming might be more harmful than you think, and how tackling digital distractions can help to boost your health and productivity.

After the first lockdown happened, the time I was spending online started to take a real toll on my mental and physical wellbeing. Hitting rock-bottom prompted me to search for a solution to get the best out of technology, without letting it get the best out of me.

I got stuck into research, networking with those that have faced similar challenges and exploring strategies for developing a better relationship with technology. But amongst all the vague tips and tricks, I just couldn’t seem to find a solution that really worked – so, I decided I would create my own.

Once I gained real control over how I used technology everything else seemed to fall into place. From improving my performance at work and in the gym, to my relationships with friends and family, and even getting on top of mundane chores.

Recognising that I wasn’t alone in the challenges I faced, I found a drive to use my experience to help others reach their potential by overcoming the digital distractions that get in their way.

Improving my relationship with technology has taken me from rock bottom to create an award-winning start-up. What could it do for you?
