About the opportunity

In partnership with Nottingham Trent University, this 4-year apprenticeship programme will align your studies to real work experience, allowing you to earn a great salary and become an integral part of our Operations team. You’ll be working towards the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship, to achieve a BA (hons) in Management and Leadership, as well as professional recognition by the Chartered Management Institute.

Our Degree Apprenticeships provide a blend of on and off the job learning, exposure, experience and education so that you can develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours to kickstart your career. At the end of the programme you will be supported to transition in to a role that is aligned to your future career goals.

Our Operations function is responsible for manufacturing great quality products for our customers, ensuring that we deliver to a consistently high standard. You’ll gain experience in a number of roles over the duration of the programme within our site operations teams, which will include, responsibility for ensuring that our production lines operate in an efficient and economical way, meeting our customer requirements, and motivating and engaging others.

This will include:

  • Delivering against productivity and efficiency targets
  • Resolving problems and issues as they arise
  • Identify and act on opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality, performance
  • Leading and engaging team members to ensure satisfaction, motivation and well being
  • Communicating with the operations management team on performance and outputs

The programme starts in September 2023, and assessment centres will be held in the Spring 2023.

To join our Degree Apprenticeship, you will need:

  • GCSE English language and maths at grade C/4 or above
  • 3 A Levels at BBB

or a

  • BTEC extended Diploma at DDM
  • Or previous relevant work experience
