Offer To Sustain with the Prince’s Trust: #CreateYourFuture

Have you received a health and social care job/ apprenticeship offer, but haven’t yet started in post? The Prince’s Trust can support you with mentoring, workshops, mental health support and financial grants to help you start work.

About the opportunity

This programme is open to anyone aged 18 – 30, who has been offered a role and is waiting to start & not already in employment Exciting news!

Our contract with DHSC now allows us to support young people from job offer to start (no need to have completed a PT course before) What does this mean? Lots of valuable support is available including financial to help prepare young people for their H&SC role!

Support you will be provided in the programme include:

  • Development awards –To help cover the costs that come with starting work, including but not limited to; work clothing/footwear, and up to 3 months travel costs (Bus’s, trains and fuel cards included).
  • Help preparing for work – what to expect and what you need to do to be ready to start.
  • Help identifying potential sources for references.
  • Help with onboarding documents, we can pay for these if you don’t have the ID required this
  • Ongoing support for 6 months, this also includes free use of the fabulous MyndUp service, an online platform where you can gain free access to a range of support and advice services including counselling, financial advice, and life skills
