Auto Trader is now looking for three Level 4 Sales Apprentice to join their Sales and Customer Partnership Team. The Sales Apprentices will join a vibrant and energetic team where they’ll build their knowledge of the automotive industry, as well as their knowledge of Auto Trader’s data, products and services. Through continued learning, they will have the opportunity to help Auto Trader’s automotive retail customers achieve their commercial goals.
The Sales Apprentice will earn whilst studying towards a Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship and will feel supported from the moment they join. They will receive a mentor who, alongside Auto Trader’s dedicated Early Careers team, will be there for them. They will also work with and be supported by talented Account Managers, Graduates, and other Apprentices.
Key responsibilities
The Sales Apprentice will:
- Be the first point of contact for automotive retailers’ questions and queries.
- Communicate with automotive retailers over the phone and email.
- As their knowledge grows, match products and services to customers’ needs and use data to identify opportunities that help automotive retailers’ businesses to perform better.
Skills, traits, qualifications and other criteria
Successful candidates must:
- Be good verbal and written communicators who enjoy speaking and providing good customer service over the phone and email.
- Have the resilience to handle some difficult conversations and the curiosity to ask questions.
- Be able to prioritise and remain calm when dealing with multiple tasks.
- Be able to evidence Level 2 qualifications equivalent to GCSE 4/C or above in Maths and English (Note that if candidates do not have these qualifications there may be the opportunity to study these while also completing the apprenticeship (subject to an entry test)
- Not already hold the same or similar qualification (Level 4 Sales Apprenticeship)
- Have a right to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for the last 3 years.
