Exciting opportunity for an ambitious and technically adept person to become an IT apprentice at Sacred Heart Catholic High School. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.
Duties will include:
Assist in the care and maintenance of IT equipment, ensuring it is fully functional and fit for purpose. Notifying Line Manager if external repair is required
Carry out IT related tasks as directed by Line Manager
Assist in the safe control, storage, repair and disposal of IT resources as directed by Line Manager
Liaise with staff and students to provide advice on the safe and effective use of equipment
Liaise with staff to provide support for SIMS and assist with SIMS back-end work.
Follow health and safety procedures
Support any training and development of staff and students as directed by Line Manager
Keep abreast of IT developments
Promote and implement the school’s equal opportunities policy in all aspects of employment and service delivery
