A traineeship is a course with work experience that gets you ready for work or an apprenticeship. It can last up to 8 weeks.
Tasks include:
Assisting recreation and leisure coordinators with varying activities for the residents
Assisting the housekeeping staff to carry out cleaning and laundry duties
Assisting the kitchen staff and undertaking kitchen duties including cleaning, preparing, cooking and serving food
Serving meals and drinks to residents and helping those who need it
Undertaking basic admin and reception duties
You’ll get:
A work experience placement
Help with English and maths (if you need it)
After successful completion of the Traineeship course, you will receive a certificate of completion and a letter of reference as a minimum, to support future job applications.
