It all began back in the late eighties as a small independent family-owned business who fell in love with the forest, which hasn’t changed, we’re just a little bigger. Our collection now includes five hotels – Bartley Lodge, Burley Manor, Forest Lodge, Moorhill House and Beaulieu Inn plus The Drift, our pub restaurant. All are in the very heart of the New Forest with instant access to the breath-taking, spacious National Park.
Work Experience Placement Activities
– Shadowing of staff across the food and beverage/kitchen/front of house departments of the hotel.
– Site tour
– Health and safety demonstration
– Supporting the wider team in serving customers within restaurants
– Support cleaning teams in cleaning and dressing of rooms
All activities will be on an ongoing basis and candidates will support different teams when required. Candidates will be placed with a buddy that will support them throughout the programme as well as a placement coach employed by remit training.
These vacancies are for 19-24 years old candidates only. This opportunity includes 4 weeks of pre-employment training allowing you to learn the skills you will need to unlock your potential within the workplace. Following on from this you will then complete 3 weeks of hands on work experience with New Forest Hotels to showcase your talents and what you have learnt from the course, get more familiar with the people in the company and the role. After which you will be offered a GUARANTEED INTERVIEW for a job role. During the 4 weeks of pre-employment training, you will be working towards a qualification in Customer Service along with improving your employability prospects, maths, English & digital skills, all of which are vital within any workplace and will help you feel well prepared for your work experience and the GUARANTEED INTERVIEW.
