An amazing opportunity has arisen at our site in Birmingham. We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in starting their career as a HGV Apprentice in order to become a fully trained HGV Technician within three years.
What will the apprentice be doing?
Maintenance & repair of all types of vehicles
Conducting routine inspections
MOT tests
Diagnosing vehicle defects
Identifying repairs required through unfair wear & tear
General repairs & major overhauls or replacement of engines & gearboxes
Vehicle breakdowns & conduct roadside repairs
Automotive electrical work
Liaise with Transport personnel to supply of parts
Complete all documentation i.e worksheets, certificates, receipts applying signatures
