Throughout the course learners will complete training in relation to confidence building, employability skills, and an understanding of expectations and requirements within the customer service sector. Practical elements of the course will encourage learners to develop and learn new skills such as workplace expectations, presenting self during interviews, CV writing and effective communication with others. This will be alongside maths, English and essential digital skills training, where learners will be supported to progress within own skill set.
Training and Work experience will give an overview and introduction to the following:
Taking furniture parts from production and finishing them ahead of Quality Control sign off using a mixture of hand tools and machinery including CNC.
Assembling the packaging and then packing the furniture and fixings, ensuring that every item is present and correct. Flagging issues up to their team leader and taking an active role in the improvement of our processes and products.
Printing and labelling items ready for dispatch using our warehousing system. Adhering to H&S, helping with maintaining the factory, and other factory duties as required.
