About the opportunity

The Greencore Degree Apprenticeship Programme is designed to help you reach your potential and build a rewarding career in food.

In partnership with Nottingham Trent University, this 4-year degree programme will align your studies to real work to become an integral part of our Technical team. You will complete a Level 6 Food Industry Technical Professional Degree apprenticeship, and complete the programme with a BSc Hons in Food Science & Technology.

Our Degree Apprenticeships provide a blend of on and off the job learning, exposure, experience and education so that you can develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours to kickstart your career. At the end of the programme you will be supported to transition in to a role that is aligned to your future career goals.

To feed the nation, we don’t just make our products taste great. Our Technical teams protect our customers and colleagues through promoting high standards and developing innovative techniques to ensure food quality and meeting of food safety objectives. In your Food Industry Technical Professional Degree apprenticeship, you will learn about food chemistry, sustainable food production, raw materials, microbiology of food and how to apply this knowledge to your day job.

To join our Degree Apprenticeship, you will need:

  • GCSE English language and maths at grade C/4 or above
  • 3 A Levels at BBB

or a

  • BTEC extended Diploma at DDM
  • Or previous relevant work experience
