If you are looking to start a career in sheet metal work/fabrication with a dynamic growing company then this is the ideal apprenticeship for you. Washington Metalworks are looking for 5 apprentices to start in September with grades 4 and above.
Duties:
You will be working closely with experienced fabricators to learn and develop skills within fabrication
You will have the opportunity to work with various metals including, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and mild steel
You will gain experience working on MIG and TIG welders
The duration of the apprenticeship is 4 years. You will have a day release each week to attend Sunderland College where you will learn theory, based on practical skills that you have gained while on site at Washington Metalworks. This will include learning the ability to read engineering drawings
