Groundwork LDN is running a 4 day workshop for young women, teaching them confidence building, employability skills, and how to overcome barriers held up by sexism in the workplace.
By the end of the workshop, the women will have:
Created a strong CV and Cover Letter
Learnt how to write a great job application (and submitted a couple in the duration of the course)
Developed interview skills · Become empowered to combat sexism and overcome barriers
Built up confidence and feel more ready to achieve their ambitions
Who is eligible?
Aged 16 – 24 years old
Not currently in employment, education, or training
Currently living in Camden, City, Hackney, Harringay, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth, or Westminster
After the workshop, the Employment Advisors will continue to work 121 with each woman until they have succeeded into employment, education and training.
