Being the first point of contact for customers to access services; managing diaries and other staff resources as part of a dynamic, fast moving team; providing administration support for colleagues; supplying qualitative and quantitative information for reports; carrying out marketing activities and maintaining databases and monitoring systems.

This Traineeship work experience is part of an education and training programme that is focused on giving young people the skills and experience that employers are looking for. At its core is the Work Preparation training, English and maths for those who need it, and a high-quality work experience placement.

  • Are you currently not in a job? Do you have little or no work experience?
  • Are you aged 16 to 24 and qualified below Level 3 (A level)?

 

As a Trainee with Curo some typical tasks will include:

  • Under the guidance of the CLO talk to a wide range of customers, supporting them to access appropriate services
  • With support from the CLO, respond to customer requests for information, complaints and compliments in a timely, outcomes-focused way
  • To assist the CLO with triaging cases and allocating them to the relevant worker, managing diaries and organisational requirements
  • With support from the CLO, keep well informed of the full range of agencies and providers who can support our customers
  • To support the CLO in processing applications and enter information swiftly and accurately into databases and spreadsheets so that all relevant systems are up to date and provide accessible information on request
  • To assist the CLO with producing clear and accurate reports, spreadsheets, charts and graphs as required
  • To support the CLO with cross-referencing data from differing sources and present it in ways that meet the requirements of the different audiences
  • To help the CLO and team to prepare marketing materials and support a programme of activities for customers and promotion events across all support services
  • Under the guidance of the CLO, to help collate quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation data and actively contribute to performance reporting
  • To support the CLO with organising and facilitating training and meetings, both internal and external and record accurately
  • To take personal responsibility for the health and safety of myself and others by working within Curo’s Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times
  • Under the guidance of the CLO and with regard to GDPR regulations, to liaise with partner agencies to share information in a timely manner that ensures that information available for our customers is up to date and relevant
