Key Duties include

  • Support the management of key information systems within James Brindley. Including but not limited to, Arbor, CPOMS, aspects of Office365, SISRA, Enjoy Benefits, Visitor, Paxton, School Cloud, MySOS, Papercut and telecommunications systems
  • To assist in quality assurance of data
  • To support the Systems Manager in evaluating the functionality of systems available and those within James Brindley
  • To maintain accurate records for staff training and professional development
  • Support in the development and implementation of administrative forms and templates to enable the effective exchange of information
  • Ensure systems and process data is secure in line with GDPR
  • Run periodic and ad-hoc reports for a range of stakeholders
  • Be a role model/point of contact for academy wide users

Desired skills

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office software
  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative and professional manner communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organised with proven ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales/deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving and ensuring positive outcomes are secured

Desired qualifications

5 GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent).

Apprenticeship summary

Apprenticeship level: Advanced, Level 3 (A level)

Positions: 1 available

Weekly wage: £189.42 to £365.31

Working week: Monday – Friday, on a banked hours system to allow school holidays off, with 5 additional days to be worked for 6 weeks holiday.

Total hours per week: 41.00 (the hours are based on the candidate being over 18)

Expected duration: 18 months
