About the BFI Film Club

The BFI Film Club is for 12-15 year olds and will be held in Minehead in February.

It is led by professional filmmakers and is a fantastic opportunity to learn about scriptwriting, cinematography, lighting, video editing and acting.

During the week, you will make and star in your own short films and there will be a screening of the final films for friends and family at the Regal Theatre in Minehead.

About the BFI Film Academy

The BFI Film Academy is for 16-19 year olds and will be held in Bridgwater in January & February

As a student on the Film Academy short course, you’ll gain hands-on filmmaking experience, working alongside industry professionals to develop practical knowledge and skills. On the seven day course you’ll get to make two short films, watch films, receive career signposting, work towards a recognised Arts Award qualification and receive career masterclasses.
