This Traineeship opportunity includes work preparation training, Functional Skills maths and English support for those who require it and a high-quality work experience placement.
Traineeships lasts 8 weeks with the content tailored to your individual needs. It includes:
- Work preparation training which ensures you are ready and have confidence to take the first step in your career
- Meaningful work experience which provides insight and experience of the world of work and makes you more attractive to potential employers
- English and maths support to help give you the literacy and numeracy skills needed for the workplace
You can apply if you’re:
- eligible to work in England unemployed and have little or no work experience
- aged 16 to 24
- qualified up to and below Level 3.
You won’t be paid, but you may be given expenses for things like travel.
Job role
- To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extreme high standard of social skills.
- To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
- To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
- Report any equipment failures to the Maintenance Manager.
- Assist the Duty Manager in any tasks outlined/detailed by him/her.
- To participate in any Training/Development schemes as recommended by Management.
- Pass any Maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department
- Environmental Health Policy and Regulations
- Liquor Licensing/Weights & Measures Act
- Food Hygiene Act
Entry requirements
- Microsoft office proficient (including Excel and Word)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
- Smart, personable, confident with a professional manner
