The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and driven individual to work alongside the site manager to learn the role of becoming a site manager. We also have a school farm which the Apprentice will be involved with. A great opportunity to join our award winning Apprenticeship programme. You MUST be an ANIMAL LOVER!
What will the apprentice be doing?
Understand and maintain grounds and external fabrication of a building, demonstrate and understand the importance of the control of resources and stock.
Understand and demonstrate the principles of Planned Preventative Maintenance.
To look after the school farm animals & carry out simple repairs.
Be able to perform under pressure & have a thorough approach to work.
To be able to create effective working relationships, be able to solve problems & work independently and as part of a team.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The Apprenticeship will work towards a Property Maintenance level 2 Apprenticeship Standard this will include 20% off job training which could take place at a local Walsall training centre and is included in working hours. Applicants may also need to work towards Functional Skills English and Maths.
