Apprentice Accounts Assistant with Newcastle College – 8th September #CreateYourFuture

The apprentice will assist with general bookkeeping and finance admin tasks in order to provide excellent service to clients. This will include handling enquiries, producing reports and assisting with audit activities.

To assist with general bookkeeping and finance admin tasks including:

  • Assisting with raising monthly customer billings and supplier invoices in the system
  • Cash allocation
  • Producing daily and weekly debtor reports
  • Creating direct debit lists, Direct debit allocations
  • Assisting with credit control and purchase ledger control ‘day to day’ tasks (sending out email chasers to Cintra customers, reconciling supplier statements)
  • Handling finance related queries
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliation
  • Assisting with internal and external audit activities
  • Providing appropriate cover as and when required
  • Participating in Finance projects as required
  • Ad hoc finance activities as and when required.
  • Providing excellent customer service to Cintra clients.
