ActivGardens Project Officer Traineeship with Activlives 1st September #CreateYourFuture Opportunity

ActivLives develops services that engage, support and empower people to improve their health and well-being, create and connect people in their community and provide opportunities for new learning and volunteering.

ActivGardens are lively, inspiring and busy community garden sites which support people to lead an active, healthy life, learn and share skills, and contribute to their community. Our projects and services work with a wide range of people, including long term unemployed, people experiencing mental ill health, depression and anxiety, people with disabilities, older people and refugees and asylum seekers. We run a programme working with young people who may find it difficult to learn at school. Our core Volunteer Team helps with the day to day maintenance of ActivGardens.

This will involve general garden maintenance, nature conservation, planting, maintaining all areas on site and more:

  • Building Sheds
