From finance graduate to food careers… meet Megan of ABP

Finance graduate Megan Worsley took the graduate pathway into a career in the food industry with Youth Friendly Employer ABP. Here’s her story…

Joining the ABP finance graduate scheme

After graduating with a degree in Accounting & Financial Management from Sheffield Hallam University, Megan successfully applied to become a Finance Graduate at ABP UK.

Gaining hands-on business and management experience

She began her career in head office, working on financial and management reporting, and recently moved on to ABP Shrewsbury where she has gained commercial awareness and an in-depth understanding of day-to-day operations.

Career progression

Currently half way through her CIMA exams, Megan is working towards becoming a chartered accountant.

Building “valuable skills in different areas of finance”

“ABP UK’s finance graduate scheme stood out to me as it gives me the opportunity to build valuable skills in different areas of finance – completing rotations at head office, site and internal audit. I receive constant support and guidance from the company and have the opportunity to participate in different events and courses to aid my career development.”
