Shropshire Stainless and Aluminium Ltd (SSA) is a large UK multi-metals stockholder of stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, and bronze products.
This is a fantastic opportunity as you will be based in the headquarters of SSA, Shrewsbury, and work as part of an experienced warehouse team, cutting and preparing materials to customer specific specifications.
You will be trained to run & operate all machinery including computerised Plate & Bar Saws and our guillotine.
You will be able to work independently, with accuracy, a high-level attention to detail and working to deadlines a must, as well as being able to work as part of a team, on a full-time shift basis Counterbalance and multi-directional Forklift licences are preferred, however full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Dulson Training will deliver the training for the forklift licence if required.
This company works closely with Shrewsbury Colleges Group who would provide employability skills tailored to meet your individual needs including CV writing, interview skills and general application training.
You will be given an Individual Learning Plan detailing the support required having undergone an initial assessment of need.
