South Staffordshire College, Introduction To College – Remote Courses Available #WestMidlands

A fresh way forward! If you’re not ready to attend college full-time, or didn’t get the grades for your desired course, it’s still your chance to shine! This free Introduction to College programme is about learning at steady pace, and with extra support, to gain your new skills and qualifications.

Starting college should never be a daunting experience, but sometimes you’re just not yet ready to join a full course setting. This specially designed course helps you learn new skills while deciding on your future steps, and is split into 3 main areas – Skills, Self-Management & Specialisms.

As well as improving your skills, you’ll gain several new qualifications including one in your subject specialism of choice, anything from Customer Service to Construction.

Key information

This specially designed course will help prepare you for taking the next step in your future, with options to take up a sector-based specialism of choice. You’ll receive formal qualifications, with a wide range of support to building your CV, practice interviews, and a chance to move onto a full apprenticeship and meet new employers.

You’ll gain a variety of qualifications in your chosen area, with the added extra of building your skills and confidence, whilst deciding on your future steps.
