About The Programme
Looking to kickstart a career as a software developer? Then a degree apprenticeship with Ada is the perfect fit for you!
During our apprenticeship programme, you will develop the specialised technical knowledge & skills needed to be a software developer. You will spend 20% of your time working towards a BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions or a Foundation Degree, and 80% of your time in full-time employment as part of a software development team, applying what you learn to cutting-edge projects with real-world business applications.
For example, some of the modules you will study include:
- Advanced Programming
- Database Systems
- Networking Security
- User Interface Design
- Artificial Intelligence
Qualifications Received
Ada offers two, different Software Development qualifications:
- Level 6, a three-year programme working towards a BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions
- Level 4, a two-year programme studying a Foundation degree, with the option to top up to a BSc through a third year of study.
Average Salary
As part of your employment package, you will receive a full-time salary.
Entry Requirements
- You are 18 years old or over.
- You are not in full-time education.
- You have the right to work in the UK.
- You have lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years.
- You have GCSE English and Maths at A* to C (or equivalent).
- You have a Level 3 qualification such as BTEC, A-Level or an Access to Higher Education certificate.
- You do not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject (e.g. a degree or master’s in a similar subject), or studied the course contents before.
- You must live in England and spend at least 50% of their working hours in England over the duration of the apprenticeship.
