Come along to this fantastic FREE in-person information and discussion event hosted by London Digital Jobs & Skills Hub at City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, London E16 1ZE on Thursday 14th March to learn how you could get a great entry level job in one of many different areas across Tech and Digital via one of our many FREE training opportunities, and change your life for the better!
Please be aware that this is NOT a drop-in style event; we will be adhering to a strict start time and timed schedule, so please arrive by 9:45am at the latest!
Before booking your ticket, please check the eligibility criteria below, and please also note that each individual person wishing to book a ticket will need to do so using their own individual name and their own individual personal email address. Any bookings that do not meet all requirements will be cancelled.
ELIGIBILITY – Please be aware that this event its self and the training opportunities discussed at this event are strictly only open to people who meet the eligibility criteria below. Please do not book a ticket for this event if you do not meet ALL of the following criteria:
- You must be currently unemployed OR employed part-time working for 16 hours or less per week OR you are on a zero hours contract.
- You must currently live in 1 of the 33 London boroughs proper, unfortunately any area just outside of London doesn’t count.
- You must NOT already currently be in any form of education.
- You must NOT already have a Computer Science degree or any degree relevant to the career you want to break into.
- You must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
Please also be aware that, while not all of the training opportunities we connect people with have an upper age limit, some of them do.
Event content – At this event we will be explaining the day to day responsibilities of various entry-level Tech roles including Cloud Computing, Data Analysis, Software Development, Digital Marketing, and IT Support, and sharing information about various FREE bootcamps and other training opportunities that can help you secure one of those roles. We’ll be joined by guest speakers including recent course alumni and professionals who are further along in their careers – you will hear their inspiring stories and have the chance to ask them any questions you might have! We’ll also be joined by representatives from our partner organisations (the organisations that deliver the actual training courses) who will be able to chat with you on a one-to-one basis and help with more specific enquiries.
This event is NOT a recruitment event. There will be no recruitment activity at this event of any kind. This is an information and discussion event designed to raise awareness of the FREE training opportunities available to eligible Londoners.
