Prince’s Trust’s Get Started in Creative Sewing 5-day programme is designed for any young person wanting to develop their design skills and improve their wellbeing.
It’s an opportunity to meet new people, develop confidence and get creative designing and making great products! During the workshops you can expect to:
- Learn how to design & create a fabulous functional garment from recycled materials
- Develop your skills on using a sewing machine
- Discover how you can use creativity to improve your mental health and wellbeing
- Receive 121 support to help you into work, education, or training
- Build your confidence, develop your communication skills, meet new people, have fun & more!
Taster day: 10th May 2023
A chance for the interested young people to meet Prince’s Trust staff and other young people interested and allows us to select the young people most suitable, dedicated and motivated to complete the programme..
Prior to the taster day, we need to have spoken with each young person to determine their interest.
