Tower Hamlets Education Business Partnership (THEBP) is a leading education charity that bridges the gap between students and the world of work, providing fair and equal opportunities that enable students to broaden their horizons, igniting a determination to fulfil their aspirations.
Our programmes utilise business volunteers from local employers to deliver effective, high quality interventions designed to raise pupils’ aspirations, develop vital skills and prepare them for the world of work. The recent mass school closures forced our in-school interventions to shift and we launched a new virtual offer, connectED, for schools and their students to continue their careers related learning. We designed a new suite of digital events and resources with the aim of keeping young people connected to the wider world and fuelling their career aspirations. During these challenging times we opened connectED to support schools and young people not just in Tower Hamlets, but across the whole of England. After fantastic engagement and feedback on the programme, we have extended it until the Easter holidays to offer schools and young people a constant during these turbulent times.
Tower Hamlets Education Business Partnership (THEBP) introduces ‘connectED 2’: Monday 1st – Friday 26th March.
ConnectED is a series of virtual events and digital resources aimed at supporting young people during home learning and the return to school. ConnectED focuses on continuing to develop young people’s employability and life skills and provide meaningful encounters with business volunteers.
The offer is free for schools and youth organisations across England, and our content has been developed for young people aged between 8-18. For further information and to sign up to receive these free resources, click HERE
