Occupational Specialism Outcomes (Data technician):
- Source, organise and format data securely in a relevant way for analysis
- Blend data from multiple sources
- Analyse structured and unstructured data to support business outcomes
- Interpret data and communicate a result appropriate to the audience
- Can apply legal, ethical and professional principles when manipulating data
- Discover, evaluate and apply reliable sources of knowledge
Entry Requirements
The T level is available for students aged 16-18 (on the 1st September 2021) or if you have an ECHP be aged 16-22. We are looking for students with at least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths and an interest in working within the Digital field, especially within a data analysis.
No specific technical skills are required.
Who is this course for?
Students who have completed GCSE’s and are looking for the next step specialising in IT and Business. This course prepares students for work within a business in their IT department by teaching practical and theoretical skills throughout the two years of the course.
At the end, students will complete a 315-hour industry placement within a IT department and be able to apply their academic skills to a real world setting.
