We understand that deciding whether University is right for you isn’t easy. Our Apprenticeship Programme is a fantastic opportunity to complete a funded and supported qualification whilst you work within one of our divisions, gaining experience and training.

We employ our Apprentices on a permanent contract and consider ourselves responsible for their development path – with support from the programme manager and the wider business.

What do you need to apply?

Personal Strengths

Candidates interested in applying for our Apprentice programme will be hard-working, self-motivated individuals, with a proactive approach to work and their studies.

Qualifications

You will also have gained GCSE – Grade C (Level 4) or above in English and Maths and be on your way to complete your A-level/BTEC triple award, or equivalent.

What will you be doing?

We have placed Apprentices into various departments which include:

Marketing
Technology and IT
Finance
Audit
Financial Crime
Data Strategy and Management
Corporate Strategy

As an Apprentice with St. James’s Place, you’ll be studying a qualification relevant to your job role. Supported qualifications range from level 3 up to degree apprenticeship level 6.

Qualifications will be delivered as blended learning, self-study and online, an assigned coach to meet and discuss your progress every 6 weeks. You’ll have an Apprenticeship programme manager, there to support you the whole way through. You’ll also have an Apprenticeship buddy – a previous apprentice who can answer your questions and provide a more relaxed form of support.

The Apprenticeship program also incorporates the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. All apprentices complete the award which helps to develop love skills through training, confidence, resilience and self belief.
