Building Health Programme – NHS #WestMidlands

This programme is for clients who are interested in pursuing a career as a Health Care Assistant within a Hospital environment.

Role Overview

The programme provides clients with both employability and vocational based training relevant to the job role. On completion of the programme clients will apply for a vacancy and if successful will then be interviewed. If successful clients will be supported through the recruitment process until they are issued with a start date. For those unsuccessful we will continue to work with clients identifying their areas for development so that they can apply during the next recruitment round. We also offer clients wrap around pastoral mentoring support if required.

Duration

The programme is delivered over 9 days with an interview scheduled for day 10.

Frequency

Courses run every six weeks.

Entry Requirements

Clients must sit a literacy and numeracy assessment and achieve Level 1 in both.
