Smith’s Metal Centre’s is a world class supplier of engineering material alloys and plastics into a broad range of industrial applications.
The company is recruiting a Warehouse, Assembly & Admin Trainee through the Kickstart scheme.
In this role you will get an opportunity to learn all the main functions of a warehouse and the associated administration requirements.
Your duties will include picking, packing and dispatch for outgoing deliveries as well as quality checking and stock control for incoming deliveries.
No previous experience is necessary, although an understanding of general engineering products would be an advantage as well as good numeracy and the ability to pick up computer systems.

You must be aged 16-24 and in receipt of Universal Credit to apply for these opportunities. You cannot apply for a Kickstart Placement directly with an employer. You need to be referred to these opportunities by your Work Coach.
