Prospectus and young people charity the EY Foundation are working in partnership to offer charities easy, simple access to the Government’s Kickstart scheme.

Our Kickstart job board is the place to start and develop a career in the charity and non-profit sectors, working with purpose and reward at some of the UK’s largest and most specialised charity and non-profit organisations, benefiting communities and causes every day.  

By working with Prospectus, you can gain access to CV shortlisting, general recruitment and onboarding tips from an expert in the charity sector with over 60 years of experience.

By working with the EY Foundation, you ensure that your young person gets the best possible workplace training that’ll both support their own development as an employee and also assist with their effective onboarding at your organisation.

We take care of all of the heavy lifting of applying to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) and provide the young person with EY Foundation’s high-quality employability training. 

This is a real opportunity to build capacity in your organisation, offer valuable paid work experience to a young person and improve social mobility and diversity in the charity sector. We understand that the Kickstart scheme should be an opportunity for your charity to do more with extra resources, rather than create extra work for you. As a gateway provider for a number of charities that have taken advantage of the scheme already, we have strong experience in working with the DWP from application process requirements and likely feedback to them, through to organising payments from the scheme for your new member of staff.

Specialised Cohort Support

Prospectus are specialist recruiters to the beyond profit sector – covering charities, education, membership bodies – any not for profit sector organisation. We are working in partnership with EY Foundation who work to give young people the skills, experiences and support to get the jobs they really want, and provide in-work employability support.

We want to support young people via Kickstart to gain work experience and start their careers in the not for profit sector.
