Summary of Offering
EmployabilityUK is a registered charity that specialises in raising the confidence, motivation and work readiness of young people. We support them as they transition through education into employment.
As a gateway intermediary, we provide a comprehensive package to support businesses that can’t or don’t want to apply directly to the DWP with all aspects of the scheme. We make the application, manage the admin process and once the employer appoints, work with them to design an employability skills wraparound.
Our service is unique in that we offer, not only a bespoke package of support, but also a mentoring programme that goes beyond the 6-month placement. This additional 6-months support after their placement ends, means we can ensure the young person is supported with their next steps once their placement finishes, whether or not the employer offers them a job. They also get unlimited access to our 360Extranet which is an online resource with information and sign-posting to support their ongoing journey.
If an employer wishes to apply direct to the DWP, we can support them with wraparound care only. Again, this is tailored to suit the employer and meets or exceeds all recommended quality guidelines for employability skills wraparound support.
