About This Opportunity
If you are interested in learning more about working in care professions such as health and social care or childcare then this may be the course for you. You will gain practical skills to develop and improve your confidence and experience.
Our friendly, specialist staff will offer the extra encouragement that you may need as you start the next stage of your learning. You will be fully supervised during your time doing practical activities.
You will study an award in adult health and social care and childcare, as well as improving your Functional Skills. You can take part in local trips and visits, along with other enrichment activities within the College to build your confidence and develop your social skills.
You will also study maths, English and ICT plus a digital skills course to build the skills you need for improving your independence or the next step in your career pathway.
Eligibility & Requirements
There are no formal qualifications required. We’ll assess you needs and levels at an interview to ensure you are placed on the correct level course.
