The role of the Business Analyst is crucial to improving processes and systems within an organisation. Recently, as more organisations look to embed digital change projects, this has accelerated the demand for Business Analysis skills.

The Business Analyst apprenticeship programme is an effective way to start a successful career as a Business Analyst, or develop your existing role with a Business Analysis focus.

Who is this programme for?

This programme would benefit anyone with analytical skills, looking to drive process or system change within their organisation, or start their career.

Our apprenticeship enables junior or aspiring Business Analysts to operate successfully in their multi-faceted role, providing them with the skills, knowledge and behaviours to influence successful change delivery.

Typical job titles for our Business Analyst learners include; Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst and Systems Analyst.

What will you learn?

Over 12 days of online facilitated training, learners will gain advanced Business Analysis skills including; Business Analysis Practice Modelling, Business Processes modelling, Requirements Engineering and Agile Business Analysis.

The Level 4 Business Analyst apprenticeship programme includes four optional associated BCS certificates, Agile training, and an optional BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis, ensuring that your Business Analyst is highly-skilled, with the qualifications to back this up.

The course duration is 18 months, consisting of online workshops, monthly coaching sessions and online learning through our Virtual Learning Environment and other platforms.

Entry Requirements

You’ll be a logical, creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills within business change environments. The best candidates will have a thorough, organised approach to all that they do, with strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations.

Individual employers will set the selection criteria, but this is likely to include ‘A’ levels, a level 3 apprenticeship or other relevant qualifications and experience. Level 2 English and Maths will need to be achieved, if not already, prior to taking the end point assessment.
