Description

This year more than 3000 young people aged 14-24 took part in the Youth Voice Census to share their views and experiences on a range of topics from education to employment, social action, well-being and employment support services.

The Youth Voice Census provides us with an important view of the world as young people are experiencing it. It allows us to ensure that young people’s voices are heard and that those working to support them including policy makers, employers and educators can hear them.

The 2018 Youth Voice Census highlighted some very real concerns around gender inequality and a continuing bias towards academic pathways. Will the 2019 Youth Voice Census show that things are starting to move in the right direction or will we be hearing similar concerns?

At this meeting we will hear directly from young people who will share their own personal views and experiences, alongside a presentation of the 2019 report.
