Providing good quality careers advice in schools

Our CEO Laura-Jane caught up with CEIAG Lead Julie Poppleton from Chase Terrace Community College. We have been friends with CTCC for a long time and believe they are one of the best examples we have seen of providing good quality careers advice for young people.

You can watch the full webinar here:

CTTC are based in Staffordshire, within the community of Burntwood. Traditionally a mining community. The population has had good growth and the school has around 1400 students with numbers growing, intakes are continuing to grow. The community spirit is strong and the school is seen as big key to that. Julie is the Head of Careers at CCTC but also looks after PSHE, Citizenship and a small team looking after the pastoral care in the school.

The school has students from Year 7 to Year 13. Recently the school have acquired the skills centre which covers design, technology and engineering.
